My newly adopted senior cat won't eat or drink. What should I do?

Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Female | unspayed | 7 lbs

Hi i have a older cat that was seen this morning for a routine check up. Everything went fine and was normal. I got her a couple of days ago her other owner past away. Since i got her she hasnt been eating and shes refusing to drink today what can i do to help her

Since Princess is an older cat I would suggest getting some blood work performed to check her kidney values, make sure she is not diabetic or hyperthyroid. These are some diseases that older cats can get. I would also talk to your veterinarian about an appetite stimulant to help her want to eat.
