Pet's info: Cat | British Shorthair | Female | spayed | 2 years and 3 months old
Sally was keeping one eye closed I wasn't too worried at first but then she looked a little crusty then it looked weepy so I started cleaning it with boiled water left to cool then notice she has a small scratch near the corner of her eye lids but now she has a large angry looking pach on the other side that's now down her nose and such ( see pics) the other two are fine so don't think it's contagious but is there any tips to help it heal or is it only a vet trip. I included a before PIC

Hi there and thank you for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach to address your concern. Based on your pictures, Sally could have an eye infection and there may also be trauma to the surface of the eye. I would recommend having Sally examined by a veterinarian so that the most appropriate diagnostic and treatment recommendations can be made. She may need an eye ointment to help treat an infection and ointment for the skin that appears to be quite irritated. I hope this helps guide you in the right direction. Please let me know if you have any other questions or concerns and I would be more than happy to help you further.
