My dog has a red/black spot on his inner thigh. Should I worry?

So a red/black spot has appeared beetween the leg and the abdomen of my dog and I'm not sure if this is just a scratch or it can be something serious. It's been a week and I haven't seen much change. There's a difference of two days between photos. Pet's info: Dog | Yorkshire Terrier | Male | unneutered | 6 years and 1 month old | 9.36 lbs

If it is not associated with itchiness or discomfort, there is no need to be concerned about this.
