My dog has white mucus in poop after deworming. Is it worms?

Hello, we give Drontal to our Cocker Spaniel on Thursday, July 26, he have 11kg and we give 1 tablet. Next days we see something white in his poop, it seems like mucus. I have attached a photo, can be that worms? Should we be warned? Pet's info: Dog | English Cocker Spaniel | Male | unneutered | 7 years old | 29 lbs

Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! It is hard to know what this is as it could be many things. I think it is likely mucus and nothing to be concerned about. If he is otherwise doing fine, I would just continue to monitor him for now. If at any point he develops diarrhea, inappetence, vomiting or any other concerning symptoms of sickness, have him evaluated by a veterinarian. Good luck and have a great day!
