What to do if my dog swallowed a large bone in an emergency?

If a dog swallowed something it shouldn't like a huge bone what would you do in an emergency situation?

If it's a huge bones basically 2 things can happen. first and only relatively positive scenario is that Scout keeps the bone in his stomach for a long time with minimal or no side effects until the bone is completely/mostly digested. second and more likely option is that your dog will start vomiting constantly and stop eating, this will be a sign of an obstruction, this will require immediate surgery that might be at high risk. for this reason i recommend taking him to the vet right away in order to have an xray done, when your vet knows where to look for the bone he will then perform surgery in order to remove it. at this point the surgery is very low risk.
