My cat threw up white worms. What are they and what medicine to use?

Hello, I found many worms in my cats bowl moving around and I am thinking that he vomited them out. They were white and medium sized. Maybe around about the size of half your pinkie. Do you know what worms these are and what medicine is best or if there are any home remedies to get rid of them while I get he medicine?

Cats may occasionally vomit up roundworms, but they look more like spaghetti. Submit the 'worms' and a stool sample to your veterinarian to diagnose intestinal parasites. Your vet can then dispense or administer an appropriate dewormer. The treatment may have to be repeated in 2-3 weeks.
