Feral cat panting, not eating in heat. What if I can't catch her?

Pet's info: Cat | Domestic Shorthair | Female | spayed | 9 years and 6 months old | 9 lbs

Hi! So it's been really hot where I live and one of my ferals Started panting today , eating very little forth day past two days ( when the heat started ) , but when I see her drinking she's drinking a lot . Im not sure what to do I want to take her in but she will not let me get close to her , any help appreciated!

If you can't catch her to take her in, keep lots of sources of water available for her, and leave out a variety of different foods for her. If she continues to decline, you may need to put out a trap to catch her, and then get her in to see the vet. Thanks for asking Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach!
