My puppy (German shepherd) swallowed a 4-5 inch stick, I am worried something might happen. What should I do?

An immediate check up would be required to determine by an x ray/abdominal ultrasound if the stick could be causing an obstruction/perforation of the gastrointestinal system or not. Your vet can possibly make him sick as well.
