Wallace is a very handsome boy! Large breed dogs should be switched to an adult food when they are at least 12 months of age, so I would wait until then to make the switch. Best of luck, I hope this helps!

Hi, thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! Adorable picture! Hercules can be changed over to all adult food at 1 year of age. If he has a sensitive stomach gradually changed him from puppy to adult over 2 weeks even if it is with in the same brand. Good luck!

It is recommended to switch a dog from puppy food to adult food when they are a year old. That's because they will have completed most of their growth and no longer need the extra calories, protein, and calcium. I would start Dale on an adult food next week, but do the switch slowly by mixing together the old food and the new food food, increasing the amount of new food and decreasing the amount of old food until he is eating the new food only.
