Why is my dog weak and not playing, but still eating and drinking?

My dog has been acting weak today. She’s usually playing ball and today she’s not interested at all. I’m worried about her. She’s eating and drinking fine. She has mostly been resting all day. Pet's info: Dog | Yorkshire Terrier | Female | spayed | 4 years old | 9 lbs

Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach. Continue to monitor Daisy. Be sure that there is nothing that she has gotten into - medications, poisons, cleaners, trash, etc. If it is hot where you are, that may be enough to have Daisy less active than usual. But if she continues to act lethargic or weak, I recommend having her seen tomorrow. There are many illnesses that can cause dogs to be weak, so after an exam, the veterinarian may recommend bloodwork or other diagnostic testing. I hope Daisy is back to normal soon.
