Thank you for submitting your question regarding Dixie. She will need to see her veterinarian. Skin tests will be needed to determine the cause of her bump. She could have a problem with mites, ringworm or a yeast or bacterial infection secondary to itching her face. Allergies to something in her diet or environment are common causes of itching. Fleas are a frequent problem this time of year as well. Once the cause is known, she will likely be prescribed a medication to heal the skin. She may need an E-collar to prevent any further scratching as well. I hope this information helps!
