What's this bump on my senior dog's elbow? Is it serious?

What's on my dogs front leg? He's a 10 year old male cocker spaniel. I just noticed it today but apparently it's been there a while.

From the pictures, it looks as though the lesions on Bruce’s elbow could be a callus (particularly if he likes to lay on hard surfaces) or an elbow hygroma. He should have these lesions checked by a vet, but if they aren’t changing, it isn’t a rush to have the lesions evaluated.
