Pet's info: Dog | Rottweiler | Female | spayed | 3 years and 7 months old | 116 lbs
My 4yo Rottweiler has recently started acting a little strange when she pees. She seems to go with no problem, but then will continue to squat like she still needs to go. Then she may squat several more times like she needs to go but doesn't. And she has started to have accidents in the house. We will take her out before bed and wake up to find a small accident. This is unusual for her. Is it something to be concerned about?

Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! It is definitely time to see the vet as these are classic signs of a urinary track infection. Crystals, bladder stones, and other things can also cause this sort of things. So schedule the next available appointment and bring a irina sample with you. Or, consider dropping off a urine sample the morning of to speed things along. (Worst case, don’t let her urinate for 2 hours before your vet appointment.). Best of luck to you and Hildi!
