My cat has a bald line on her leg, but no itching or redness?

4-5 year female cat. Breed unknown. A line approx. 3" long appeared all at once down the front side of front leg. This is the only area affected. Line is near bald with no sign of any irritations or redness. The cat isnt or hasn't been licking this area or scratching. Cat seems unaware. No changes in environment or food. No illnesses or medications. Cat is primarily indoors, but does on occasion relax on patio and driveway. when outdoors cat is not always supervised. Any thoughts on what this i

It could possibly be caused by an allergy, infection, or trauma but it is a little strange that there is no redness or irritation. Monitor the area for changes and see if the hair starts to grow back. If not or if the area becomes red, inflamed or has a discharge than have your vet examine her to determine the cause and if any treatment is needed.
