Pet's info: Cat | Tonkinese | Female | spayed | 4 years and 4 months old | 7 lbs
I have two kittens (6 months of age) and two adult cats. One is 5 years and the other 2 years old. From what I can tell at least three have roundworms. We are treating them with an over the counter medication for the second time. What can I do to prevent this from happening again and should i clean the house?

Definitely make sure to treat all four of them for worms, and give them a second deworming treatment after the first one. That's because it will take at least two rounds of treatment in order to kill all the worms. The first kills the adults present at the time of the first deworming, and the second kills the adults who had not yet hatched at the time of the first treatment. After that, they should all be dewormed every three months. Yes, I would clean the house as well, give it a really good scrub, especially the floors and litter box. Be sure to wear gloves when cleaning the litter box, and practice good hygiene. I recommend using Panacur, it's an excellent deworming treatment.
