I use the cheaper flea and tick drops because I have 3 heelers and the the cost of Nexgards and Frountlines, etc. are quite exspensive, should I just break down and by the better drops? Dr. Pusateri thinks my one of my heelers has flea allergy dermatitis, shes healthy but losing a little hair on her back with a small bald spot with a little scab. I might do the medicated dog shampoo, so I guess my ? is what might be the best flea, tic, mite prevention, as there is also a sheep farm next door?

Yes, I would use better drops for your dogs. The cheap ones don't work as well because the active ingredients are not as strong as the ones you can get from the vet. I don't recommend using Frontline because I personally have seen resistance to it, as have colleagues of mine. I recommend using Advantage or Revolution, but as an oral flea treatment, NexGard is good, as well as Comfortis and Trifexis.
