Pet's info: Dog | Pomeranian | Female | unspayed | 6 months and 18 days old
My puppy has been a non stop issue because I live with roommates and she barks constantly at the most random things and/or moments. She barks when people are knocking and such like I don't know what to do. I've been thinking about getting her a muzzle for the night so she won't bark while people are sleeping but I'm not sure. She also barks non stop when my significant other and I aren't near her, as though she has separation anxiety or something. I can't even use the bathroom or take a shower.

Poor Nala! From the examples you gave of some of the situations that cause her to bark, it sounds like she's a very anxious girl - dogs often bark at noises, unfamiliar people, etc because they are frightened. I would not suggest using a muzzle to try and address this problem - the only type of muzzle that would prevent barking is a tight-fitting cloth muzzle that holds her mouth closed. These muzzles are designed to be worn for very short periods under close supervision; it would not be safe or humane to leave one on her all night. I'm afraid there is really no "quick fix" for behavior issues like this - in order to help her, you will need to work with a professional who can help you put together a training plan to address her anxiety. Prescription medication may also be helpful, depending on the severity of the problem. I would recommend making an appointment with a veterinary behaviorist who can evaluate her in person and give you specific instructions for working on her fear.
