Why does my dog make a noise like something's stuck in her throat?

My dog doesn't seem like she has a cough, but for a while now, every now and then she acts like she's got something stuck in her throat, and sometimes she makes a noise when taking a deep breath or stretching. She doesn't seem unwell though as she still likes to do her usual things. Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Small (up to 22lb) | Female | spayed | 4 years and 11 months old | 21 lbs
