My new puppy is dirty from travel. Is it safe to give her a bath?

Should I bathe my 40 days old pup,as she has travelled like 200 km road... that's too in a public transport ....

Hi there and thank you for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach to address your concern. I generally recommend waiting to bathe until about 3 months of age using a shampoo but if you need to bathe to get dirt off of the coat, it is ok to bathe your puppy and will not cause any harm. If you want to do more frequent bathing, I would recommend waiting until 3 months of age or older to do repeat baths with a shampoo. I hope this helps!
