My hamster has wet poop. What should I do and is it serious?

My hamster she has wet poops and i dont know why now its been a while with her haiving it will it last forever

Diarrhea in hamsters like you are describing is called ‘wet tail’. It is usually due to an overgrowth of bacteria in the gut. Oftentimes hamsters need antibiotic therapy to help them overcome this condition. You should also ensure that your hamster has a good, well balanced diet. If the diarrhea has been goin for more than a couple of days I would recommend taking Burrta to your vet to be checked out. I hope this helps. Let us know if you have any additional questions.
