Why is my dog suddenly barking aggressively at new people in my home?

Hello, my dog is a labrador retriever(black) he is 17months old.Recently my uncle brang someone in my house while we were all in bed and marley(my dog) ran down and then all we heard is barking aggressively to this man and i dont know what he done as when he started barking we ran down. After this incident he barks at anyone that comes in the house new to him or anyone who looks like the man. Marleys past isnt great either before our home. I just wanted to know whats going on?

Poor Marley! It sounds like he may have been frightened by the man for some reason (this doesn't necessarily mean that the man did anything in particular - Marley may have just been startled), and is now nervous and uncomfortable about seeing people who remind him of this. You can help by keeping Marley at a distance from people he seems nervous about, and praising and rewarding him with treats for being calm. If you need more help with Marley, I would recommend getting in touch with a good reward-based trainer or behaviorist who can evaluate him in person and help you put together a detailed training plan to help with his fear.
