Why is my new puppy itching and losing hair? Could it be scabies?

We got a dog from treats it was only a month old.Now he had itching and due to scratching his hair falling alot i thing may be it is contact allergy because of cement .I found him in construction site .I am afraid of it may be scabies.pls advice me what can be done to cure him please advice me i

The best advice we can give you is to have him checked y the vet, to determine exactly what is going on with his skin. It may be a contact allergy, but it could also be an environmental allergy, fleas, mange, etc. The vet will take skin scrapings if necessary, to come up with a specific diagnosis and treatment plan.

    Thank you for submitting your question regarding Scooby. I recommend that he sees a veterinarian as soon as possible. There are some diseases that can be transmitted to other pets and people. He will need to be tested for mites and ringworm. Typically it is a good idea to start flea control as well. Allergies are another common cause of skin disease. Based on his exam findings and test results, the doctor can make treatment recommendations. I hope this information helps!
