My dog has a soft, hardening cone-like growth on her paw. What is it?

My dog has a cone-growth on her paw. It is mostly soft but the tip is beginning to become hard it feels like. How serious is this and what is a logical guess as to what it is?

This may just be a benign keratin growth, but I imagine it might start to get Uncomfortable. I would encourage you to have him evaluated by your veterinarian and consider having it removed. Best of luck and thank you for using Pet Coach.
