Hi, my 6 month old , six pound puppy recently got into a box of chocolates from Valentine's Day. She has thrown up twice, but we are worried what it will do to her. We understand that chocolate is toxic to dogs, so we were wondering if there is anything we can do to help her or any signs to look out for.

Chocolates toxicity is very serious. Vomiting and diarrhea are the first signs of toxicity but can quickly become heart issues, seizures, and even death depending on how much she consumed. Please take her to an emergency center immediately. Best of luck and I hope she does well. Thank you for using Pet Coach.
