My new puppy is coughing and vomiting. Should I take him to the vet?

New puppy coughing and has thrown up twice today

Hi, thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! Poor Zoey! The most common cause of coughing in a puppy is kennel cough. They can develop pneumonia if it is severe. When they cough hard they can stimulate the gag reflex and vomit white foam or even food. I recommend taking Zoey to a Vet for an exam. They may prescribe antibiotics and a cough suppressant.
