My Labrador has dry skin. How often should I bathe him and what helps?

Pet's info: Dog | Labrador Retriever | Male | unneutered | 3 months and 12 days old | 80 lbs

How many days once should i bath my lab ??? He has dry skin due to which he is biting and scratching his body ....anything to control dry skin???

He should be bathed no more than once every 4-6 weeks. Use a pet approved shampoo for puppies. You can use plain, unscented baby wipes or pet wipes to spot clean him in between baths and as needed. An essential fatty acid supplement, usually a fish oil, can be added to the diet to promote healthy skin and coat. Product choices include EicosaCaps, DermCaps or Welactin.
