Pet's info: Dog | Border Collie | Male | neutered | 1 year and 8 months old | 50 lbs
Loki gets very excited/anxious every time he meets another dog on a walk. Even if I’m on the other side of the road to another dog being walked he’ll try and wriggle out of his muzzle collar, growl and go mental until the other dog has passed. He hasn’t been walked much because of always take him to an oval to have his exercise because I knew how crazy he gets around other dogs and I don’t trust him with other dogs at all. But I really want to change this behaviour for my sake and for his.

This type of behavior is often due to anxiety. I would strongly recommend talking to your vet about anti-anxiety/ behavior modification medication which can make a huge difference! You’ll have to do some training/practicing in conjunction to medication but I have had a lot of success with this type of case!
