My dog has a growth on his ear. Should I be worried or get it checked?

I would definitely get it check and see about removal to be safe. There is a good change it is a histiocytoma which are not cancerous and sometimes can go away by themselves. however mast cell tumors can be aggressive and have the same appearance. you vet can take an aspirate to see if surgery is needed or if you can wait it out to see if it goes away on its own.
