Hi I have ragdoll/himilayan that is 8 yrs with no known medical conditions. She has had 2 rt side anal abcesses in tje past 18 mo ths amd recently was impacted on the left. She has been put on a supplement for anal glands thst is added to her food.she is on a high quality cat food Fromm adult and small amounts of wellness brand canned food daily. Despite the expression of the left side a week ago I feel she is still tender and protecting herself when I pet her. Is there anything we could be mis

For recurrent infections and problems I would talk to your vet about surgery to have them removed. Then you don’t have to worry about dealing with it and having her miserable. Outside of that I would consider a diet change to a hypoallergenic or easier to digest form
