My dog has a firm lump near her belly. Could it be a hernia?

From head to tail Between the third and fourth set of nipples mommy dog has a firm ball like of a knot that’s under the skin and protrudes Any thoughts?

This lump appears to be over Mommy's umbilicus so I suspect it is an umbilical hernia, where a little bit of fat from inside her tummy protrudes through a defect in her muscle. As long as she is in good form and going to the toilet it is likely just a fat hernia. I would definitely get it checked out though as sometimes the defect in the muscle needs repaired as it is big enough to let more imoortant structures herniate.
