Hello, my 2 year old corgi has a lump on his gums. It is smooth in texture and about the size of a tylenol capsule.

One of the most common masses that we see in the mouth is something called an epulis. An epulis is considered a benign mass, but some types will invade the surrounding bone if not removed. I am attaching a handout below with more information. http://www.veterinarypartner.com/Content.plx?P=A&S=0&C=0&A=3513 I would recommend having your veterinarian examine Duncan to see what they think about the mass and decide on what to do from there. Good luck! I hope that was helpful. Thanks for using PetCoach.
