My dog is itching constantly, but I don't see any fleas. Help!

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Small (up to 22lb) | Male | neutered | 3 years and 2 months old | 15 lbs

What can i use for my dog itching he doesn't have fleas he was my mom's dog and she passed last year he is so sensitive doesn't like anyone he was just with my mom all the time what do i do?

Poor Tobie. I would start by trying Benadryl twice a day (see link below) and finding a good oatmeal shampoo or one with anti-itch properties. I like Duoxo Calming. Make sure he is on a high quality flea preventative. It only takes one flea to cause an allergic reaction. If this doesn't work I would have your vet take a look. Your vet will be able to determine the cause of the itch and get him started on the proper meds. They will also be able to start him on a strong allergy medicine like apoquel, cytopoint or steroids if needed. I hope this helps! https://www.petcoach.co/canigive/dog/benadryl/#!
