Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Large (61lb +) | Male | neutered | 85 lbs
My dog has small, round, scabs that have been abruptly appearing on his face for the past few days. Do you have any ideas as to what could be causing it?

Scabbing on the face can be caused by bug bites, allergic dermatitis or even an underlying immune mediated skin condition. A picture of the bumps may help narrow down the list of possibilities here. However, if they are itchy then its best to place an e-collar on Duke to prevent him from making these skin lesions worse. Then getting him treated by your vet with allergy medicine and antibiotics for any secondary skin infections is the next best step toward getting Duke's skin to clear up. Best wishes with Duke and I hope his skin clears up soon. Take care.
