What is this soft, growing, air-filled bump on my dog's ear?

Pet's info: Dog | Staffordshire Bull Terrier | Male | 6 years and 3 months old | 55 lbs

My dog has a bump on his ear that feels like a blister under his skin. There is no marks on it. It's getting bigger. What could it be. It feels like air in the bump.

If it’s inside of the ear flap then it’s most likely an aural hematoma. That is from scratching or shaking the head and a blood vessel in the ear flap ruptures and the blood is trapped between the skin layers. This can be a result of allergies or a skin infection. Having your veterinarian drain the fluid and check for infection or allergies is recommended. If you leave it alone it will takes months to resolve and the ear will become scarred and abnormal.
