My puppy has runny poop but is active. When should I call the vet?

12 week puppy. Has runny stomach 2 times a day sincd yesterday. Still eating and drinking and playing. How long should I wait to see if it clears up? Pet's info: Dog | Labrador Retriever | Male | unneutered | 2 months and 24 days old | 20 lbs

You can offer him a bland diet of boiled plain chicken and rice or cottage cheese for a day or two, as well as 1-2 tsp of canned pumpkin (not the pie filling) in his food daily for added fiber. If his stools hasn’t improved within 24- 48 hrs then it’s best to take Jeff in to your vet to have his stool tested for parasites and then treated based on his lab findings.
