Why does my cat have a quarter-sized scab on his stomach? He's fine.

Just found a quarter sized what looks like a scab/ really dry skin on my cats stomach, he is acting normal no excessive licking or scratching and he was fine with me looking at and touching it. None of the pictures on the site looked like what he has

That is a pretty large crusting lesion. Does he go outdoors? It could be an abscess from a fight. If he is indoors only then I would be more suspicious of a skin infection, an infected growth, or even the possibility of ring worm. I would encourage you to have him evaluated by your veterinarian soon. In the meantime you can try to soak off the scab with a warm water compress and see what is underneath it.
