My cat throws up from time to time. What's wrong?

Without a veterinary exam, there's no way to be sure, and even then it's difficult to tell unless there are other symptoms to help guide the diagnosis. It could be hairballs, it could be something he is sensitive to in his food, it could be that he eats too quickly and regurgitates. Keep an eye on him and see if you can determine if he is gulping his food. If so, you can slow him down by putting some river rocks in his dish to make him eat around them and therefore slow him down. If isn't eating too fast, or if he has or develops other symptoms, such as a loss of appetite, diarrhea, lethargy, or just doesn't seem right, I recommend getting him seen by your vet right away.
