Pet's info: Dog | Field Spaniel | Male | unneutered | 9 years and 5 months old
I woke this morning to my 9 year old spaniel having had a very bad tummy, there was massive amounts of yellow lumpy runny pooh, he had also been a bout 3 or 4 times in the garden, he had roast veg and turkey last night. I've not given him any thing since apart from water, he has since been again and was very yellow and a large amount. He seems OK in himself, still jumping around, please advise what i should do. I've added a picture of what it was like.

Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! Diarrhea can be observed with conditions such as gastroenteritis, colitis, dietary indiscretion, parasites, among others. Based on your description of events, it is likely that this is due to dietary indiscretion. This usually responds well to a combination of a bland diet mainly composed of white rice and boiled chicken combined with a medication called metronidazole. Because of the large amounts of diarrhea or soft stools and the possibility of dehydration, I would recommend that you have him evaluated by a veterinarian for further assessment and treatment. They would be able to start him on something like an anti-diarrhea medication to make him feel better. Good luck!
