What are these pink bumps on my pit bull puppy's back and tail?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Dog | American Pit Bull Terrier | Male | neutered | 3 months and 7 days old | 20 lbs

My 14 week old pit bull puppy has small bumps all over his back down to his tail. They don't seem to hurt him when I try inspecting them but he does seem to bite them once in a while. I have no idea what they could be. They look kind of pinkish and they're all close together, almost looks like a bumpy rash but they're actual bumps. What could it be ?

Based on the pictures you have provided, I suspect this may be an allergy or bacterial skin infection. I would recommend reading the below article and also using the below recommended products. If there is no improvement, I would suggest having a veterinarian examine him so that the most appropriate diagnostic and treatment recommendations can be made. I hope this helps! Please let me know if you have any other questions or concerns. 1. Welactin omega 3 fish oil capsules 2. Essential 6 spot on by dermoscent 3. Douxo PS chlorhexidine combination shampoo and bathe twice weekly until the infection is resolved 4. Malacetic conditioning spray and apply to the area until resolved The products can be found online quite easily. https://www.petcoach.co/canigive/dog/benadryl/
