My indoor cat has a sudden head cut. Is it ringworm or fleas?

My cat has this spot on his head with a cut in the middle, he didn't have it when I left for work I came home and it was their. Is this ringworm? None of my animals have ever had it and he never goes outside. Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Male | unneutered | 2 years and 2 months old

It does not appear to be ringworm but of course it could be. There is no way to diagnose a skin condition 100% with just a photo. It actually looks like he has scratched his head due to fleas. Even cats that don't go outside can get fleas. Fleas get inside the house all the time. I suggest you get him to your vet for an exam. It looks like he will need some antibiotics for that.
