My cat is itching, no fleas, skin wounds. Is she allergic to carpet?

Can my cat be allergic to carpet. She won't stop itching, I look for fleas and i dont see any. Her skin is becoming to look wounds on her

Precious could be allergic to the carpet but something like fleas or food is more likely. Pets can also get environmental allergies to dust, pollen, weeds...etc. I would recommend to rule out fleas first. Use a good product like Cheristin or Revolution for 3 months. If there is no change, then its likely not fleas. Precious's vet would be the best resource to help identify what steps are needed to figure out what is causing the skin issues. I hope this helps!
