My dog has a dark flat mole-like growth on his belly. Is it serious?

Hi i just noticed this dark flat mole like growth on my dogs lower belly. He never bothers with it and didn't even notice when i was inspecting it. He is about a year and a half old and a French mastiff. Does it look like something I should worry about?? Pet's info: Dog | Dogue de Bordeaux | Male | neutered | 1 year and 8 months old | 115 lbs

Hello, that dark spot should not be something that you need to worry about. Monitor it intermittently and make sure it is not becoming raised, painful, red, or having any discharge. As long as not of these occur then you do not need to worry about it and have your veterinarian take a look at it when he goes in for his next wellness exam. Hope this helps and best of luck.
