Hello, those marks appear like areas where he has been licking. Occasionally, pets can develop darker pigmentation around their inguinal areas as they begin to age. Most often this is a benign change. If the area appears to have concurrent bumps or nodules, or if the area is painful or causing discomfort to Bruno then you should have hi evaluated.
