What is this brown, crusty sac or rash on my new puppy's neck?

My dog is 10 weeks old. Her name is Henley. We adopted her today. They told me she was as healthy as can be. Cause we have a baby at home. And when we got home to bathe her we noticed a brown sac on her neck it’s a small area but puss like and crusty like rash. The brown sac looks like it could be pulled off but I don’t wanna mess with till I know what it could be. Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Small (up to 22lb) | Female | spayed | 11 lbs

the best thing to do is gently brush the area. You want to get the mess and debris out of her hair. From there you will be able to see what is underneath the scab. Once you get it removed, you can clean it with soap and water and place Neosporin until you can get her to the vet to see what caused it and what else isneeded.
