Our dog ate about 40 grams of milk chocolate (Hershey's kisses- about 8 of them). She is about 15 pounds. She threw up most of it.

The good news is that is a low dose that not associated with toxic levels. The better news is most was thrown up so the absorption rate is even lower. You shouldn’t notice any toxic effects such as tremors or heart rate changes but GI upset is a possibility but should be minor

According to her weight, the type of chocolate she ate (milk) and the amount she ate (0.2 ounces) she should be just fine. If anything I would expect only mild symptoms if anything at all. I would just monitor her. These symptoms would be normal if you notice anything and they should resolve on their own: Nausea Vomiting Diarrhea If you notice any of these symptoms you should get her to the vet as they are more severe. i don't expect any of these symptoms to occur with the ingestion of just one Hershey kiss. Tremors/Shaking Seizures Hyperactivity Fast or irregular heart rate
