Why is my older dog not eating, drinking, or getting up from bed?

I was wondering if you can help. My dog is not acting like her she's been in bed all day she doesn't want to get up she hasn't ate or drink water. Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed | Female | spayed | 8 years old | 18 lbs

At her age this can be pain from arthritis if she is stiff and sore. It can be from an upset stomach from an infection, diabetes, or kidney disease. The best thing you can do is try to help her up and get her moving so she does not get too stiff. You can bring the food and water closer to her and try boiled chicken and rice to encourage her to eat a little. If she is vomiting or not interested in any of these options then I would take her to an ER clinic for evaluation and see whether blood work or x rays will be needed
