The best thing to do is clean the wounds with soap and water and keep him calm and confined to rest. If he is not using the leg or there are wound greater than an inch or continued bleeding, then you will need to find a ER clinic to treat the wounds for infection and to have stitches and an x ray to make sure nothing is broken.
