My puppy is losing baby teeth and biting a lot. Is this normal?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed | Male | unneutered | 5 months and 19 days old

My Mayor loses his lower right canine tooth the other day. Yesterday, he loses the lower left canine tooth. Today, he loses another canine tooth from the upper part. I think it is his baby tooth. Is it normal? I'm starting to get worry. However, I can see that the first canine tooth to lose is now growing back. Should I do something? I observed he is more of biting now. Maybe it's because of his teeth

Based on his age I agree that these are all baby teeth. Dogs lose their canine deciduous teeth between 5-6 months of age. Sounds like a normal puppy to me! Thanks for posting the question and using Pet Coach.
