How to stop my puppy from eating her poop after indoor accidents?

My puppy has started eating her poop now. Sometimes when she has accidents inside she'll eat all of it. How do I get her to stop this. Pet's info: Dog | Dachshund | Female | unspayed | 4 months and 17 days old | 10 lbs

This is actually quite common in small breed dogs. They just love eating poop, as nasty as the habit is. Some people have had success by adding in 1-2 tsp of meat tenderizer in their pets food to make the poop taste bad. If this doesn’t work then you can ask your vet about purchasing a product called Forbid which also makes their poop taste bad. And always always pick up the poop as soon as you see it deter Rosie from eating it. Best of luck to you in getting Rosie to stop her unwanted habit. Take care.
