My 1-month-old puppy is smelly. Is it safe to give him a bath?

Pet's info: Dog | Labrador Retriever | Male | unneutered | 1 month and 10 days old

Toby is only 1 month and 11 months. He's smelly. Is it okay to give him a bath? Please help

Try using pet wipes to clean him up if possible. It is best to not bathe such a young pup. If you must, do it as quickly as possible and keep him warm to prevent chill. Dry him thoroughly and provide supplemental heat afterwards.

    Thank you for submitting your question regarding your puppies. You can bathe them with warm water and be sure to try them thoroughly afterwards. It is best not to use shampoo and conditioner at such a young age. If needed, then make sure the bottle is labeled for use in puppies. You can call the manufacturer and verify 4 weeks of age is ok.
